Preaching:

I love to preach and teach the Word of God. My main style is expository, but I use other styles when the occasion calls for it. I use the King James Version of the Bible for all of my memorizing, preaching and teaching in English. I also speak Portuguese.

Doctrinal Position:

I believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God, and is the absolute, final authority in all matters of faith and practice. I clearly identify as a fundamentalist, Baptist expositor and educator. I am not a part of the neo-orthodox, neo-evangelical, ecumenical, contemporary or charismatic movements.

Background:

Hi! I'm John. I grew up in a pastor's home and sat under the preaching of the gospel from the time I was a child. I trusted Christ as my personal Savior when I was 16, and three years later I committed complete control of my life to God and have sought to serve Him ever since.

I met my Georgia-girl wife when her family became part of our church in California. We married in 1968, and the Lord has blessed us with two children, three grandchildren, and several Brazilian foster children.
